Ann Pierce Stith, Executive Director

Ann Pierce Stith serves as the Executive Director of the Foundation for New Education Initiatives, Inc. (FNEI), and supports the Miami-Dade school system in creating and strengthening strategic partnerships with South Florida's diverse philanthropic community. Ann is dedicated to the goal of enhancing the overall academic experience for the students and families of Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Prior to joining FNEI, Ann served on the executive teams of Our Kids of Miami-Dade and Family Central. She leads all aspects of the Foundation’s operations including partnering with schools, District offices, community organizations and local community leaders. Her extensive background working with the South Florida business community and area non-profit service organizations extends the Foundation's reach to multi-cultural settings throughout Miami-Dade County. Ann holds both the Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration degrees from Florida International University. She is a past member of the Board of Directors for Coconut Grove Bank and the Education Committee & Not-for-Profit Committee for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. Ann is an active community volunteer, Ann serves numerous community organizations including the Rotary Club of Miami.

Camilo Tellez, Senior Staff Accountant

Starting as an Academic Yearn Intern, Camilo has become an important part of FNEI. With a love and aptitude for numbers, Camilo has adapted and learned how to handle just about anything. With a Mathematics A.A. from Miami Dade College and a Mathematical Sciences B.A. at Florida International University, Camilo has learned much about the Business and Accounting part of a Foundation such as FNEI. Camilo has become the sole Financial Accountant for the Foundation and manages all the finances for all programs, including the Summer Youth internship Program.
