For donors, creating an endowment that represents their goals, values, and needs is a fantastic way to help the M-DCPS community grow exponentially. Endowments are extremely important to help fund the future leaders of America.
An investment with the Foundation for New Education Initiatives, Inc. won’t just be a fund that supports these activities for a week, a month, a year, or even 10 years. Any Endowment created by our donors will be invested in perpetuity. Only income that comes from the initial investment will be used on endowment funded programs.
With a gift to the Foundation, you will be Making Your Mark in our community. Scholarships, Mini-grants, Cultural Experiences, Summer Internships, and new Computer Labs are what help our students thrive. More than 1,300 of our students were able to participate in a Summer Youth Internship Program; 10 new computer, STEAM, STEM, Tech, and Dance Labs have been brought to M-DCPS; and over 130,000 restaurant meals were distributed at no cost to our neediest families. An endowment today could help increase those numbers, and help our students thrive. The opportunities are infinite!
